Sunday the 15th of September
10:00am – 16:00pm
£155pp
We will spend the morning drawing raptors from all over the globe – eagles, owls, hawks and falcons – who will be stationed on their perches in the tranquil grounds of the manor. The Wild Life Drawing Team will be on hand for all the creative guidance you need.
Then in the afternoon it will be time for the birds to take to the sky! After a flying display and talk, with in-depth information about each of the birds unique characteristics and an introduction to falconry, you’ll each don the glove and experience the unforgettable feeling of flying the birds yourselves. There’s nothing like it!
The class is open to all abilities. With Wild Life Drawing’s top tips on drawing animals from life, you’ll be sketching away in no time! We will provide paper, drawing boards and a range of materials for you to use, but you’re welcome to bring your own kit if you like.
Although we’ll be hoping for sunshine, we do have wet weather plans in place if the heavens open.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome to take part, provided that they are accompanied by an adult.
Eastwell Manor is easily accessible by car and there is parking available. The nearest train station is Ashford International, which is a 40 minute journey from London St. Pancras, and is 15 minutes away from the site by taxi.
