My husband and I went along for the full day experience as a birthday treat for my husband. We’d been on a falconry day before but this beats it hands down! The Doddington Place Gardens were a great backdrop to the experience. The whole experience was really well organised, the birds well looked after, loads of hands-on experience and lots of knowledge shared. A special thanks to Jamie who looked after us during our experience, she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, her enthusiasm was completely infectious. I’ve already passed on details to friends who’ve heard our stories and seen our photos! Thanks again. (Oh and the lunch was pretty good too, especially the chocolate cake!)

THANK YOU SO MUCH for an amazing day at Doddington Place. Alan was delighted with his experience and the thrill of flying the birds is one he will remember forever. And so will I – thank you for including me, it was beyond our expectations but made it even more special. Some of our photographs have turned out quite well – once I got the hang of it and stopped shooting the floor!! I hope the other chap was pleased with some of his snaps too. You were a great tutor – your explanations were clear, in layman’s terms and we learned so much about how these awesome birds live, fly, survive, meld into their surroundings and live alongside other animals and humans in rural and suburban environments and how they are so important, if perhaps mostly unseen by most of us.
