Falconry Centre in Kent
The Hawking Centre is a specialist falconry centre located in Kent. Our range of incredible falconry experiences takes place within the stunning grounds of Eastwell Manor. As rated on TripAdvisor, The Hawking Centre is Kent’s number 1 Day out.
You’ll get to experience hands-on flying with our range of experiences including our Half-Day, Full-Day and VIP experiences.
All experiences are inclusive of refreshments. Lunch is included on our Full Day Falconry Experiences and Five Day Falconry Courses in our tea room or library overlooking the formal lawns.
All our falconry experiences are run 7 days a week for all ages, year-round and are the perfect gift. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and experiences are run in small groups.

Head Falconer
Reece here is a beloved member of our team and has falconry knowledge bursting from him! Reece has also been working with birds of prey for many years now and has his own Harris Hawk, Penny!

Fun Fact! Despite its size, is not a true eagle and is actually part of the buzzard family and is known to be the largest of that group.

Fun Fact! Hunting at night, they watch from a branch with their keen eyesight, then drop silently on to their prey with a swift pounce.

Fun Fact! Harris’ Hawks are one of the only known birds of prey to hunt in packs.

Fun Fact! Although a medium sized owl, they are one of the smallest species of Eagle Owl.

Lanner Falcon – Falco Biarmicus
Age: 16
Fun Fact! They are known for their ability to seize and crush birds in mid-air, and then swoop to the ground to eat them. Lanner falcons hunt in pairs, with the female using her eyesight to spot prey while the male darts in for the kill.
