My husband and I went along for the full day experience as a birthday treat for my husband. We'd been on a falconry day before but this beats it hands down! The Doddington Place Gardens were a great backdrop to the experience. The whole experience was really well organised, the birds well looked after, loads of hands on experience and lots of knowledge shared. A special thanks to Jamie who looked after us during our experience, she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, her enthusiasm was completely infectious. I've already passed on details to friends who've heard our stories and seen our photos! Thanks again. (Oh and the lunch was pretty good too, especially the chocolate cake!!)
To whom it may concern, I payed for your falconry day for my dad as a christmas present. He came yesterday 27th, Mr Ken Groom, and may I just say how grateful I am for making the day so amazing for him. He hasn't stopped talking about it, how beautiful the grounds were and how knowledgeable your staff were. Thank you very much for making the day so memorable.
Miss Emma Groom
OK, so we waited a long time to get there but when we did, WOW, what a truly amazing afternoon. Not only was Mark a wonderful falconer, he interacted beautifully with my daughter and her siblings, including Michael (who’s very special) and my Mother and Michaels carer! I was worried that my daughter Violet would feel left out (she’s too young for full involvement at 5) but Mark involved her and she too had a great time. The kids (and grown ups) hardly broke their smiles all afternoon and Violet even got to be the “rabbit” for the demonstration. Photos will be sent to the kids brother Christopher who’s serving in Afghanistan. I cannot compliment you highly enough for the exceptional customer service we receive…on our entire journey, from the lady at the gate, the café team and of course Mark especially who really knows how to treat his customers. Without doubt, the best day (afternoon) out we’ve ever had in the UK.
I intend to scour the web for further discounted offers as everyone involved (the carer too) is desperate to come back & I promised to take them but unless I find a very old very rich man soon, I’ll struggle to deliver! haha

A somewhat belated thank you – but THANK YOU SO MUCH for an amazing day at Doddington Place on 26th May.
Alan was delighted with his experience and the thrill of flying the birds is one he will remember forever. And so will I – thank you for including me, it was beyond our expectations but made it even more special. Some of our photographs have turned out quite well – once I got the hang of it and stopped shooting the floor!! I hope the other chap was pleased with some of his snaps too.
You were a great tutor (? instructor?) – your explanations were clear, in layman’s terms and we learned so much about how these awesome birds live, fly, survive, meld into their surroundings and live alongside other animals and humans in rural and suburban environments and how they are so important, if perhaps mostly unseen by most of us.
Unfortunately, the weather that attempted to stop our flying sessions overtook us on the way home, and combined with traffic problems all over the south west & midlands meant we had a dreadful journey – some 4&half hours for 120 miles but we wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
We just wish you were nearer so we could visit again and more often, but I feel sure that we’ll be back one day.
Thank you again & we wish you continued success in all your ventures with birds.
Alan & Tracey Robertson
Just wanted to thank you so much for a truly wonderful afternoon on Monday. It was a dream come true to have close encounters with such stunning beautiful Birds of Prey. Thank you Arron, Jacob and Jess for memorable walks around the Doddington estate. What a privilege it was! I've waxed lyrical about the experience to all my friends and family! Hope to see you all again soon.
We have just spent a fantastic day with Aaron & Charlotte and we would like to thank you all for such a thoroughly enjoyable day. Their personalities and professionalism combined to facilitate a truly memorable and educational experience. Your birds are a credit to you. We look forward to visiting you again later this year.

Karen, just wanted to let you know that my Grandson and I had a super day, photographs turned out well (bonus). Big thank you to your staff member who put up with my many “silly” questions and made the day really special.
Thanks once again, Trevor Mallinson
Just wanted to say thank you for such an amazing time with the birds on Friday. James and I had a magical day.
A big thank you to Mark (I think!)
Just want to say I had a fantastic morning and loved every minute. The birds are beautiful and I feel like I learnt a lot from the very knowledgable falconer. Hope to come back one day.
I would like to say thank you to everybody who gave Aaron and myself a wonderful day. I missed a chance to say thank you to Mark and Aaron, as we wandered off into the gardens! It was an an experience I'm sure I will repeat, and will definitely recommend to everybody.
Thank you once again,
Hi we have just retured form our day at the Hawking Centre. We just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time and could not recommend you more highly. Everything about the day was wonderful. Your birds are exquisite and the gentleman who did the day (Darren? sorry if thats wrong) is such a credit to you. Professional, knowlegable and a nice guy. I think that he added to the overall feel of the day for being such a nice guy. The setting could not have been better. Thank you very much. We hope to return one day.

Hello Leigh, Jo and all,
This is just a personal message to you, to give our utmost thanks to the team for making Janice's experience day, yesterday, a fantastic one.
It was lovely to meet some of the team and, to take in, all the information, guidance and hospitality so warmly given. I as a 'spectator' for the day, felt I was treated no differently, from those flying/handling the birds - we were made most welcome and it felt that we had known you for ages.
So again, our thanks to all in setting up this day and especially to Aaron and for the 'volunteers', Charlotte and Rebecca (hope thats right), for everything - a great team, a great lunch and, a great experience!
Oh, and not to mention all the little chaps and chappesses that were flying too.
Paul and Janice.
What a wonderful afternoon. A huge thank you to everyone at Doddington who were so friendly, informative and helpful. The smile hasn't left my son Chris's face since we left. Chris has Williams Syndrome with fairly severe learning difficulties and I would encourage similar parents to take the opportunities offered here. There is no danger and the people who run the operation couldn't be more supportive, encouraging or friendly.
We have just spent a Falconry Insight Day with you and what a fantastic, relaxing day we have had. The day was extremely well organised and your staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Aaron, the falconer, answered every question that we asked. We were in a group of four so had plenty of opportunity to fly the birds. We will definitely visit again.
We would just like to say we have had a great insight day flying the birds of prey. Lottie was a good instructor she had plenty of information but in a relaxing manor. Lunch was good, we would surley recomend the experience to family and friends
Dear Leigh and Laura,
I would like to thank you both for the extremely enjoyable and memorable afternoon which myself and my family spent with you yesterday. The birds are fantastic and I found I had a special soft spot for Aurther the magnificent eagle owl who liked to snuggle up to Laura on his way back to his home!
I'm sure we'll be back - it's worth every penny!
Hi, to say we enjoyed our Birds Of Prey day is an understatement, it was fantastic, great to fly the birds but also good refreshments and a fab overall package.
As a photographer to me this was all very perfect, I've uploaded a few shots, take a look and if you'd like to use any of them let me know:
